Brother Filtration manufactures Melt Blown Filter Cartridge, which is the most widely used filtration consumable product in residential and industrial water treatment projects. The term ‘Melt blown’, means that the filter has been manufactured under melt blown technology using a computer-controlled process where fibers are collected in a graded pore structure about a molded core.

With years of experience, we are able to provide you with special PP melt blown filters with varied specifications like groove, orange peel, and hairy surface finish or equipped with different SOE/DOE end caps. Optional Grooving effectively doubles the surface area providing lower clean pressure drop, increased dirt-holding capacity, and longer service life. Cartridges are available in various sizes, micron ratings, and end caps.

Melt blown depth filter cartridges are constructed of pure polypropylene fibers. Melt Blown Filter Cartridge is manufactured from 100% Polypropylene construction. They offer excellent filtration performance and good thermal stability. The unique density gradient construction maximizes efficiency and minimizes pressure drop. This filter will not impart taste, odor, or color to the filtered liquids and has superior chemical resistance.

How to replace the melt-blown cartridge?

The steps to replace the melt-blown cartridge is very convenient and easy. It won’t take a long time, the first thing you need to do is turn off the water supply system, and the pressure in the system would be released. And now, you can remove the older cartridge easily and make sure not to cause other damage.

Before putting in the new melt-blown cartridge, the filter needs to be cleaned. It usually contains sediment, dirt, dust and other contaminants. Finally, it is time to charge the new cartridge and put everything back together. Then, just enjoy the high-quality filtration.
