What is the NOMEX filter bag?

NOMEX filter bag is also called Aramid filter bag. It has the characteristic of heat resistance. When the temperature is at 250℃, the material can stay stable for a long time, so it has strong strength.

The NOMEX needle-punched felt cloth is a filter and insulation material with resistance to high temperatures, which has good physical and chemical compatibility and almost does not burn.

The Brother Filtration Nomex Filter Bag offers micron ratings from 1 to 100 at temperatures up to 200°C, enabling the removal of solid or gelatinous particles during liquid filtration. With its dimensional stability, the heat shrink ratio of the NOMEX filter bag is 1% degree celsius (only less than 240℃), it is suitable for applications such as thermal power and powder metallurgy.

Also, it has low concentrations of acid and alkali, most hydrocarbons have no effect on it, even if a small amount of fluoride can not significantly erode it. So, it can be applied to asphalt, cement, iron & steel, non-ferrous, lime, drying, and broken stone industry.

Brother Filtration NOMEX Filter Bag is treated by fire at 400℃ to get decomposition and carbonization, the limited oxygen index is 30. This means it won’t burn or combustion.
