Description
A filter bag with polyester/polypropylene material and welded technology.
What is a filter bag?
Filter bags can be the ideal solution for your industrial filtration application needs. They are designed to remove contaminants and debris from liquids and the dirt is caught inside the bag.
Other filter technologies collect the solids on the outside of the device giving them the potential to dislodge into the filter upon removal. Filter bags keep the clean side of the filter that way, The filter bags remove the amount and size of contaminants depends on their specific micron rating.
What is a polypropylene/polyester filter bag?
Polypropylene filter bags made by Brother Filtration are entirely made of synthetic materials. The right ratio of fiber weights, thicknesses, and diameters produces depth filter media that is both affordable and effective.
The thermal welded type filter bags have 100% welded fabrication. This construction eliminates the bypass which can occur in standard sewn filter bags. Brother Filtration proprietary Thermal welding technology produces a super-strong seam that will stand up to even the most demanding applications without failure.
With its special material, the ProClean Normal Filter Bag has a longer lifespan, which means it can effectively reduce the operation costs. Also, when workers install and change our normal filter bag, they will easily find out that the whole process is smooth and convenient. The normal filter bag can be applied to various industries, such as prefiltration for RO systems, oil & gas, petrochemical, painting, semiconductor, and municipal water.
The polypropylene materials we use are FDA listed as acceptable for potable and edible liquid contact according to CFR Title 21, so the ProClean Normal Filter Bag is safe enough for the food & beverage industry.
All normal filter bags are manufactured with a proprietary downstream surface treatment to prevent fiber migration. A special finish is obtained by glazing the surface, melting fibers together to form a tight, secure downstream matrix. In addition, the weld seams are heat bonded to eliminate loose fibers that may have been generated during the manufacturing process.
